Where do I get whitewalls?

Someone mentioned a place that will make them whatever size you want and someone else mentioned where I could get them. I can't remember what thread that was.

I'd rather NOT deal with Dobbs ever again!

Thanks Rick, that was one of them!

I got mine at Diamond Back Classics. https://dbtires.com 888-922-1642 They have stock tires to choose from but will Vulcanize a whitewall on tires of your choice too. The owner of the company ordered my Dunlop 175/14's thru his local Dunlop dealer. When they arrived, he went across town and pick them up and did his magic on them. 5 tires--around $600 to my door.

Cheers,

Paul

Paul (the one I didn't thump) - suggest I just call them at Diamond Back? I was on their website earlier I talked to Chris at Coker, got a price $153+$18 (195x75x15)each to ship.

Thanks Paul... I had that typed and then didn't press enter and changed my mind about an hour ago.

I'm getting too nice in my old age.

I guess we Triumph owners think a lot alike /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

Must be a special gene /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yesnod.gif

I have no idea what you Triumph guys are talking about. Like, In a white room, with dark curtains?

Janel, yes, call Diamond Back and talk to the owner. Great guy. Type of sales guy who makes you feel like he's been waiting for your call. Why the 195's??

You know...

I decided a couple weeks ago after countless cracks about the color of Binabox's paint (both here and in real life), that if someone wants to PAY for the paint job, I'll paint it any stinkin' color they want after the $4000+ is on the table. I'm beginning to think the same goes for just about everything on this car.

Don't like the paint, you pay, you pick the color.
Don't like the interior, you pay, you pick the color.
Don't like the wheels, you pay, you pick the style.
Don't like the tires, you pay, you pick the type.
etc.
etc.
etc.

OUR flippin' car. OUR choices.

Paul. Yet another topic of discussion between dahubby and I. I want 185s, he's thinking 195s. I think those are going to look way too agressive on a B.

Thanks for the heads up on Diamond Back Classics, I'll give them a call Monday morning right after I order wheels.

No - they go on cars with shiny primer!

I "knew" that was coming /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif at some point real soon.

JB... It's gonna be beautiful. I wish I had both the time and money to make mine the same!

I tried being subtle a couple times and it didn't seem to work.
~shrugs~

Kenny, we're just at a different place in our lives than you are now. And a lot older. Kids are raised, educated and on their own. Home and vehicles are paid for. You'll be there too some day.

Time, gots lots of time.
Money, it's gone pretty quickly. May have to tap into Sarah's wedding fund.
