Wasps don't like being sandblasted !!

While waiting for my compressor to fill, a wasp that was "bugging" me while sandblasting, landed on the trunklid of my B. Well, it was either him or me and he lost.

I've found a _daub_ of carb cleaner works bee-utifully!
Also a little _yellow jacket_ of spray paint will drop them right to the ground /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Yea my wife's uncle told me that once so being the obedient person I am I went down at dusk and sprayed the nest and to be sure the next day there were a bunch of blue wasps flying around /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wall.gif

Brake Cleaner - Straight to the ground, I think it just sucks the water right out of them.

Yesterday I called my 9 year old son out to the shed & said "watch this"...
There was a small nest of wasps started up in a corner of the ceiling, I hit it for a mere second with BC & they all dropped obediently to the ground all curled up. My son was impressed, so was I.

a friend of my daughters was fooling around like that when he was young and the can caught fire, he panicked and tossed it, trouble was he was in his garage at the time and the can went under his old man's car and yes you guessed it, but as luck would have it the fire dept were just around the corner and saved the garage and 2/3 of the car(not an lbc)
