TR6 TR6 hazards...again....diff problem thou

As some of you may remeber I had fun getting the hazard to work on Boricua(my previous TR6)....Now my new TR6 has 50% of the hazards working, the left side works fine. But the right side is completely out. The turn signals and all other lighting works fine and the bulbs appear to be ok too. Anyone have any ideas? I haven't done much looking yet, but I suspect bad grounds somewhere - but where is the question, as the turn signals are still working fine.

When you operate the hazard switch, it does two things: it disconnects power to the turn signal flasher and connects the right side and the left side turn signal wiring to the hazard flasher. Since every thing else works, it appears that the hazard switch is function properly. This only leaves one thing as a source of the problem - the green/wite wire from the right side circuit is disconnected, either at the hazard switch or somewhere between the hazard switch and the turn signal switch.

This won't be a ground problem, or the turn signals wouldn't work on the right side.

Go to https://www.advanceautowire.com and download a color wiring diagram for you car to aid in troubleshooting. I have attached a page from my electrical repair manual to better explain the circuit.

Thanks for the great info. I remember the hazard switch itself being loose in the dash when I got it, so I tighened it up, the green/white wire probably came disconnected then. I'll check when I get home - thanks again.

danmas, you were spot on...I slithered under the dash to find the back of the hazard switch a ball of electical tape, and the green/white wire cut for some reason. Now, if only I could find my spare hazard switch......
