a break down, begins today.

Wish me and Amos God's Speed.

Yup-running ever so smooth. 950 rpms warm
10-4 on the gas fill up-- while wifey was in the shower.

2:00 PM Just got back from Honey-do errands as the sky
let loose. Maybe a spin in the TR after the storm.

Amos and I took a respectful 3rd place in the 40K road
rally this morning.

This afternoon Wendy and I set an endurance record for
55 miles driven without a breakdown. As most know, the Crypt
Car has had many break downs during the past 6 months.
48 miles was the previous record for miles driven between
break downs.

Remember how the Crypt Car would use voodoo to attract rain
clouds to drench me. We drove this afternoon under a powerful
black sky with booming thunder and not a single drop of rain
hit Amos or us. 55 miles driven, parked in the garage- fully
functional. A new record.

I hope the alignment is close, or add a couple of tires to that boot full of emergency stuff.

Alignment is acceptable until the appointment with
the machine. Ben and Ron both instructed me how to
get pretty darned close.

No steering wheel shakes or wobbles from 0 to 70 mph.
Cars pulls ever so slightly to the left when no hands
on the steering wheel.

A set of tires is a small price to pay for the enjoyment
of finally driving my road worthy, safe TR6.
