All systems functional with green lights
Alignment late next week

Countdown to Amos, T minus 500 miles without
a break down, begins today.

Wish me and Amos God's Speed.
I'll keep everyone posted with progress
and photos as we explore the island beauty-

Hopefully further than Western Auto.

Fantastic T-ster - no one deserves an all-day drive more than you. Don't forget you'll need to add gas somewhere along the way!

Yup-running ever so smooth. 950 rpms warm
10-4 on the gas fill up-- while wifey was in the shower.

2:00 PM Just got back from Honey-do errands as the sky
let loose. Maybe a spin in the TR after the storm.

Get those miles tallied up, so we can go riding when I get there. Annie says she should get a tour as she always looks good in red HA HA

C'mon guys add em if you know em.

I don't know what it all has to do with Dale's 500 mile ride, but I love all those old sayings.

1.When in doubt, get a bigger hammer.
2.too tight's broke.(I don't really follow this one)
3.I always keep change. The dollar may go up and down, but change remains the same.
4. Go ahead and back up.

The code of the west ain't some words on a page
You just naturally know it when you come of age
You eat when you're hungry, you drink when you're dry
You look every man in the eye

It's the code of the west when the boys talk of women
The code of the west what you know you don't tell
The code of the west a man soaps his own saddle
Brands his own cattle and some of his neighbour's as well

If you're buildin' fences then I ain't for hire
You get me for nothin' and I'll bring the wire
You patch up my windows, I'll plumb up your doors
If you scratch my back I'll scratch yours

It's the code of the west you must honour your neighbour
The code of the west to your own self be true
The code of the west you must do unto others
Do unto others before them others do it unto you

Amos and I took a respectful 3rd place in the 40K road
rally this morning.

This afternoon Wendy and I set an endurance record for
55 miles driven without a breakdown. As most know, the Crypt
Car has had many break downs during the past 6 months.
48 miles was the previous record for miles driven between
break downs.

Remember how the Crypt Car would use voodoo to attract rain
clouds to drench me. We drove this afternoon under a powerful
black sky with booming thunder and not a single drop of rain
hit Amos or us. 55 miles driven, parked in the garage- fully
functional. A new record.

I hope the alignment is close, or add a couple of tires to that boot full of emergency stuff.

Alignment is acceptable until the appointment with
the machine. Ben and Ron both instructed me how to
get pretty darned close.

No steering wheel shakes or wobbles from 0 to 70 mph.
Cars pulls ever so slightly to the left when no hands
on the steering wheel.

A set of tires is a small price to pay for the enjoyment
of finally driving my road worthy, safe TR6.
