OK so i haven't posted in a while but doing some research I determined that I was missing the lower body number tag on the TR3. I have a BMHT cetificate and listed was the body number.....my luck. So I called and ordered the tag today with TRF......little victories will make it complete.

I really hope that's the right number.

They made a small mistake on the certificate for my first TR4A. They had the engine number listed as CT/69238-HE instead of CT/69238-E. Small mistake.

I wouldn't worry about it and go with what's on the certificate. How would anyone know otherwise? I think that the TRA might have access to this same information if you join so that could corroborate it.

So not too much happening lately...I got a door from a great forum participant and dropped it off today for fitting. I got to see that the shop has almost finished tying in the pan on the rear of the car. So the list begins again.

Battery box
Rear quarter skins
Rear inner fender repair
Rear trunk deck and rear trunk repair....

Still moving forward....Slooowwwwllly

OK back to cleaning the garage....and up to Carlisle for the car show/swap in a couple of weeks

Moving forward is a good thing no matter the pace

Cheers,
David

Do you have a battery box already?
If not I can fab you up one out of S.S. It will last a long time... Looks nice too.

It is....now to map out the next portion of the plan...Almost looks like a car.....a primer gray car.....got a couple thumbs up on the trip back and had two people guess what is was....an MG and a TR4.

Much more interest now than when it was covered in rust...

Looking good JP

Cheers,
David

Gotta find a shop to cover the rest of the panels with the same primer....get the rest of the panels adjusted and lean on your knowledge to get the rear clip replaced.....
Your videos are great by the way....

Thanks, working on the front of the body/engine bay this weekend.

Cheers
David

JP,

That's great! I love the before and after slideshow.

Well....I have lost some steam on the car project....The other guy that I was trying to finish the car for (my father) was called back to heaven on Saturday. I am numb and tired....I need to take care of family before the project resumes...
Thanks for all the help so far...
