Side shot for Tony mostly

yep, bet that's the one, battery powered.

Tony, there you go again. Heinekin is Dutch.

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif As usual, you're correct, sir...I initially typed "Amstel" & realized it was Belgian.....guess everytime I post, it contains something ridiculous that a person can jump on if they're wont to do so...hehehehe

Now Warsteiner, or Dortmunder Union... those are some fine german biers!

That's IT!!! A Warsteiner Wrench!

...wonder if'n my Snap-On guy has one'a THEM?!

Becks is a good german beer.

...don' want no steenkin' Heinekin Wrench.

So, were I the type to cover my "mistakes", I'd go back & change 'Heineken' to 'Becks'? hehehehe

Naa, just use a black rattle can.

PlastiKote "Wrinkle" finish covers a LOT of sin. That and Bondo. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Just came in from garage, big job. Installed dashboard brackets. Boy am I down to nothing to do mostly.

Hmmm, Doc, is that a "double entendre" or an "innuendo"? If its a "double entendre" it would be a bit risque and could shock some of the children amongst us (I mean, after all, Bugeye58 is ONLY 58! hehehe) If its an "innuendo" it could go completely unnoticed by someone not familiar with its hidden meaning - methinks only the wizened amongst us will catch any hidden meanings....hehehe /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

Naa, think he just ment he had lots of both on hand.

The first Bugeyes, up through # HAN 5 5476, used the windshield and frame with 9 studs for the top. After that, all of the Spridgets until the roll up window cars used the same frame and glass.

Mine has both.....(dots & groove)

That's one of the nice things about owning a car no one knows much about.

Went to the Elva reunion a couple years ago at Road America.
Only 3 out of 25 Couriers had windscreens & they were all different.

Had some guy looking at the car during the PVGP say something about the Nardi wheel not being original.
(As if that totally disqualified the entire car from being allowed in the Brit paddock)

I told him it was in fact optional equipment.
(He was surprised that I was the owner......I was wearing a Pinto t-shirt /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif)

I don't think it is original.......He just PMO /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Dave, I have a later '58, HAN 5 9XXX and it only has the groove. Maybe a previous owner wanted to use a 9 stud top, and added the studs. The windshields are different for the true 9 stud frames.

Maybe Doc meant to type "skin", rather than "sin"?

Jeff, maybe it'll hit on the go around as it bounces off the wall a couple of times....

No....The holes are a leftover for where lightness was added. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif (not threaded)

The big question is.....Was that lightness original?

Jack
My BE measures 6.25" at the rear, 6" at the front. Thats with 165/65-13 tires and 340# front springs.....
