Well I actually got the hood on tonight, I had to drop the RAD another 5* and offset it to the passenger side a few inches to get the Rad cap to clear. I may have to go to a pancake fan as well, but will try and shoehorn the existing HD in fan first as it provides more CFM's than the pancake. I'll post a pic of the final stack up once I complete piping it all up.

Ok here's the rad with the hood on, it was as difficult as I thought but she in there with room to spare! Here the Rad, covered for protection from weld spatter with the hood up!

That looks great. I found in converting to a BE Bonnet on my '68 just how tight all of the underhood clearances actually are. Makes you understand why the went away from BE Bonnet, wasn't only for styling.

No, no wait, sorry...there isn't room for the duct hose to the heater. Take it all out and do it again. :jester:

Thanks all,and yeah I'm going to miss that big close dryer hose. I should be getting the drive-shaft back this week, and then all I will need is a battery, some cables, add fluids, and I should be able to get it fired up.

Here's the final cool'n set-up!

Thanks, but I got to thank my Daddy for the skills, this man worked us like mules when we were young, there was nothing he would not make us do.

Thanks, halogens too so there functional as well as pretty!

Drive shaft is done, come to find out a ford ranger rear yoke and flange fits right up to the stock diff flange. It's a go for start this weekend!

What is the diameter and spline count for the output shaft of the Mazda transmission. I am working on a T5 conversion for my car, and I am wondering if a shortened Ranger drive shaft might work.

I'll try and get that info tomorrow!
