Rotary Sprite

yep a sleeper for sure...even down to the steering wheel and hub caps!

Thanks that's what I was going for, stock looks but shock and awe when I hit the gas and man it has exceed all my expectations. Also it's has been quite a hit at the local shows and cruises, and most of the old-timers have a cool Bugeye story to share. It's been awesome!

Yeah it's on the list along with some suspension mods, better brakes and seat belts, until then I treat it like a road bike, pay attention and be ready to bail..

NICE! any idea which rotary you are looking at? You might also take a look at Brian Krause's rotary powered midget. Appears that project might be very similar to the one you are undertaking.

best of luck!

Looking forward to reading through all of these pages for a bit of guidance on my own project. About to begin a rotary swap on this old race car.

My kid and I have bought a 13B and gearbox from a guy in Kitchener who is swapping an LS1 into his '92 RX7.

JP, I am at the other end of the city, in Whitby.

I have not had any luck finding contact info for Brian Kraus - I would love to chat with him.

Dont know if this contact info is still good but I pulled it from another forum so Im assuming its OK to post his contact info.

I had chatted with Brian via email a handful of times early on in my project and he was very helpful.

Nice to know I'm not the only one crazy enough to do something like this.
Looking for a suitable candidate now (Spridget & RX7). I'm just getting started
so looking forward to following your progress.
Steve

@Branson, do you have any pics or videos of your car?

That info was correct for Brian, thanks!

We picked up our engine and gearbox this week! Now we just need some heat in the garage.
