TR6 LED conversion'; wiring 2 turn indicator lamps in a TR6

Hi all;

I've gone down the LED rabbit hole on my 1976 TR6. I intend to install 2 indicator lights for the turn signal in the dash. I'm looking for wiring ideas. It should be pretty simple, but it's been a while since I've worked in DC circuits. Planning to change both the hazard and turn signal flashers, and convert all exterior bulbs to LED.

2 for one: I note that the existing instrument bulbs are T7 wedge, which is almost unknown. I have a table showing dimensions for capless/wedge bulbs, and the ones I have measure exactly to the T7. I know that with a replaced harness, which this may be, normally the bulbs are T10. The measurements for these are just not T10. Is there another bulb I can use in these T7 bases? I'll post the table of bulb

Thanks in advance.

Michael

I would get new sockets for whichever indicator lights you want to use. Some LED lights are mounted directly into a panel, in this case the dashboard. That might be easiest.

Just wire them to the outputs of the switch. One to each output.

Thanks, Steve. The LEDs are self contained, with pigtails, so no sockets are needed for the indicators. I'll use a 3-pole flasher. How do I connect the indicators to it?

Wire the turn-signal indicators to the points I indicated with arrows in my figure. Positive terminal of the LED indicator to that point, negative to ground.
