It was 40 years ago this month that I purchased my 1969 MkIV Sprite from Shelly Motors in Honolulu. A few tune-ups, one clutch replacement, four paint jobs and an Arkley kit later and it still runs like new. The clock should turn over to 50K miles soon. The car has been oil-tight from day one and is still a giggle to drive. Most amazing of all is that I can still fit in the Pape racing seat that has been in the Sprite for the last 30 years!
