I remember when we moved to Lawton and just like that we got a fourth station that we picked up from Wichita Falls in addition to the three local stations. It was amazing.

You're lucky. We had no channels until we moved to Phoenix when I was about 9 YO.

I very clearly remember getting our first colour TV - my dad rented it for Christmas and then decided to buy it. Must have been the early 70's
