I do! But I don't remember seeing those in the second photo in line with us! :devilgrin:
 
Outhouse, no running water, radio, horse drawn wagon or carriage, steam locomotives, Model Ts for mail service.

We only had 3 channels, and an upgrade outside antenna! Later we even got an electric rotator for the antenna, we were rich! :ROFLMAO:
Because we were among the first to have a TV, we had a house full of people on Friday nights to watch the fights. At 10 O'clock all TV stations (3) shut down and came back on at 8 in the morning. Hard to imagine that now. I think the Friday night fights stayed on longer? :unsure:

I well remember the national anthem followed by the test pattern. From 1986 - 1993 they had a show called Night Drive which was literally someone driving around Toronto with a camera on the dashboard set to music. I still miss it - mostly because if I couldn't sleep I could watch this and it lulled my to sleep instantly


Plus it was fun recognizing the locations
