Cant get the engine to go the last 2"

yup, straight out of the cabinent at work...just got all the goodies to finish the hanging the tranny tonight
 
Had a problem once with too much lube in the pilot shaft bearing and the input shaft would not go in because of the hydrolics of the grease. I agree with Doc and Tony, put them in the car together--just watch out for your fingers when you align the trans in the tunnel.
 
It likely would have gone in but we (read:I) didn't account for the possibility of machine swarf in the disc splines... figured an ~engineer~ was doin' the job and tested the fit ahead of time... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

the worste part being that i should have know to test fit it before hand /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hammer.gif

anyways i still havent got the engine as i have been so busy with work to get to it.
