Hendrix Wire Wheel uses an adhesive to attach the balance weights to the drums (epoxy?) but also puts in a couple "chicken fasteners" for insurance.I suggest you add weight with epoxy before you go welding and drilling. Epoxied weights may actually last longer than us.
