Hello all,

Here's a post you don't see very often, and I'm very happy to say I'm posting it!

First the lie....
I'm done, I've finished restoring my car!
Are we ever...done?

This was my first and most likely last, restoration. I've learned a lot about my car. I learned a lot about patience. I learned that very few can pull off a restoration alone. Well, maybe Keoke.

The shop manual and restoration guide helped me understand how the car was made. However it was with the support and help of everyone here that made my restoration the wonderful journey it turned out to be.

Most of us know who the regulars are, the key players here.... to them, a very special thank you.

It's a nice feeling, driving your car and not having a to do list in the back of your mind.
It's also a nice feeling, to share the wonderful joy of driving your Healey, with other Healey owners.

To Basil, Thank You!
For it's because of you and your site and all the wonderful people here, that I am now enjoying my Healey.

Cheers all,
Roger

Roger,
I could not agree more! I look forward to the day when I can say that I have completed my restoration and can enjoy my car as you are now. Hopefully, by the first of the year I will be at that point. I can say without a doubt that I could not have completed my restoration without two things: a digital camera and the Forum participants. Thanks to all, and Roger, enjoy!

Well 7777's since you are an autority on the use of Rum/Mango and you say he be sincere. Then I guess I wish Roger all the luck in the world with his restored car and hope in some small way we put him on the correct path to completion.
However, ain't neither one of you through fixin em. The more you drive em the more fixin they need.---- /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cheers.gif--Keoke-- /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
