Went to a friend's (the P.O.'s of my B) place yesterday, and they had the kids (my friends as well), and their grand kids over. I parked my B beside their open garage door. The day was nice and relaxing, but when it came time to leave, I noticed I had a bunch of brown spots all over the driver's side of my B. I new they weren't on the car when I drove up. So, I touched one and found it had a sticky syrup texture. I quickly looked around at the floor and saw spray patterns all over the garage floor and the driveway leading up to my car... One of the teens exploded a coke all over the garage floor, drive way, and on the driver's side of my car.
They had already left, so the grand inquisition couldn't begin right then. I notified the owner's of the place what had happened and they were upset the mess wasn't cleaned up, and established a no more sodas for the teens rule on the spot.
Fast forward to this morning. I go over to my friends' place (owners of said teens), and I see all 4 (1 lives there and 3 friends visiting; all of which were present at the spraying) of them sitting on the couch when I walked in. I immediately went into grand inquisitor mode with, "Which one of you exploded a soda yesterday?" I got a typical response of none of them wanting to own up. One of the mother's stepped in to aid in my quest, and after 2 minutes of none of them fessing up, they were all told to go out and wash my B. One of them tried to weasel his way out, but got the "It's too late to try and point fingers! Get out there and wash that car!".
I was irked that it had to resort to this, but a little smug that I got a free car wash out of it. It wasn't as good as what I would have done myself, but it still got the job done... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
