Found out Customs has all the forms for clearance sent from the UK and is still on hold. The rep. doesn't know why! Fed up with the whole mess! I have a list of phone numbers and after ringing the phones go dead!
Have you tried driving to the closest FedEx location and speak with a manager there?
There must be someone in their organization that can get this solved.
Elliot, I received a message from the "team leader" for customs requesting one document, which I have, and sent me her fax number, it will be faxed out this morning! Another agent requested the same document and sent me his fax number. They both will be sent out this morning! It's the first positive information I have received. Hopefully, this will do it! PJ
Got an email this morning from FedEx customs and said my documents were submitted to US Customs and the shipment has been released! I sent 4 faxes of paperwork 2 days ago and one yesterday with corrections. So hard to believe, and now with my luck, the delivery truck will possibly break down or head for Mexico!
Everything came today except the transmission! It's coming from Indiana instead of Memphis. I have no idea why it was sent to FedEx in Indiana,
but it isn't here yet as of 4:30 their scheduled time. Probably tomorrow?? I guess someone in Memphis hit the wrong button, sorry but that doesn't surprise me one bit!
Just out of the box with foam scraps everywhere.
All the bits you have there look really impressive. Well designed conversion, right down to the fact they included Loctite in the shipment. Hope the box arrives tomorrow so you can get on with it!

I won't know anything about the gearbox until I check this morning. They dropped the scheduled delivery for the time being. I'm calling customer service later. PJ
Ran into a problem receiving my order. Four items were in the shipment and after passing through customs 3 of the items were sent to me, which I received and the fourth item, the transmission was mistakenly sent to Indiana! It was then sent back to Memphis and had to pass through customs for a second time. I was just on the phone with a FedEx customs rep and was told it passed through customs and was out for shipment to Tulsa where our home deliveries come from. I never saw such a mess up! FedEx must have some illiterate people working in the shipping department that can't read a shipping label! I hope I never have to deal with them again! But I just can't stand stupid people.
This is what I received. The two bottles of oil with the red caps is what mainly caused the customs delay in the first place, hazardous material!
Joe, I agree as Redline has the same spec oil and even says in the company instructions Redline can be used, so I don't know High Gears reasoning for sending the British oil. High Gear knows it causes problems. All because instructions on filling out the customs forms aren't clear enough for a first-time user. It took me 3 times to get them right and that was with some FedEx personnel help.
