Just scored a 1974 MGB chrome bumber (production date 11/73) with 31,000 miles on it! This will go hand in hand with my 74 1/2 rubber bumper. This was a total barn find! and in fantastic shape too, not much to having to restore it. Now I have 8, I knew if I bought enough of them I would get to the barn find. Time to get rid of some.

Nice find (and of course we all want pictures)!

I thought once about getting rid of one. Wound up buying another instead...

You lucky dog! Barn finds are the Holy Grail of Cardom.
I've never been so lucky when it comes to LBCs.

Here is a pic of the car in my driveway. I should have taken pics at the ranch when I discovered the car, but it was really tight to get to with my truck and trailer. Still had to pull the car out and up a hill to get it on the trailer. I have not touched, washed or fixed anything yet in this pic. Barn Find

Nice! I think we could start a white MGB club (mine was langushing in a garage for 11 years, so sort of a barn find too).
Oh oh oh can I join too?

Mine parks some time in a storage shed. Kinda looks like a barn...

Nice addition, Dave.

The longer I'm in this hobby, the more I seem to like MGBs. Great car, great history.

Keep us informed on the resto process, Dave.

My car has/had white wire wheels? Can I be an honorary member?!

I keep our MGB in the Buggy Barn w/ the Bugeye. I love to swing open the barn doors and say "Look what I found in here!".
Neither car was a barn find by me however.
You can see the "barn" we had built to blend in w/ the old
1800s cabin we restored. Just enough room for 2 LBCs and the necessary tools.

David, you need a sign on the front of the buggy barn:

Dave,

You wouldn't be the owner of a couple of Consul Capris, would you?

David,

Why do you have California plate(s) on your car?

Alright now, I have replaced all the padding under the carpet and glued down padding with the heat shield type backing. Also got a bug up my but and started cutting out new panels for the doors, back panels, and kick panels. AND since I was at it, I decided to cut them all out in bulk, so now I can replace them on any more B's that I pick up. Time to start doing the upholstry thing. The only problem now is where to get seat upholstry without having to give up a child.

Went with a 150 year old piece of wood from an old barn
and painted the name.

The custom plates from Cali came with the car. I acquired the
same custom plates for the rear here in S.C.
S.C. doesn't use front plates.
The plate surrounds are from Speedwell UK.
