Hey Guest! BCF is a FREE resource for the Little British Car community. I just did a little math and found that less than 1% of the registered members appreciate this forum enough to support us with an account upgrade. We do not "require" you to pay to play here, but if you find BCF helpful, appreciate no pop up ads, and want to ensure we stay online - Consider supporting us with an "optional" low-cost member upgrade. There are some benefits to upgrading!

How did you finish the rubber off - Bill Rawles tends to fold the rubber around the edge of the wings and using some super swishy sticker, glue them to the U/S on the BJ7 and BJ8s.
I cut a few slits out so it tucked in. I expect the bristleflex will hold it in place - maybe with a little help from some contact adhesive. Still waiting for the Bristleflex for the windows etc to arrive.
As you can see, I'm missing the bottom two screws in the pillar - anyone tell me what they would have held in place, as the piece is missing. I'm supposing it's a packing piece?
Yes that's about the correct way to finish it, according to my guru.
Re the missing screws, just had a peak at mine, there appears to be a piece of steel behind the chrome section say around 1/8 inch ish thick may be a tad thinner - some sort of bracket? possibly to reinforce the chrome section, could be tapped to receive the screws.
A friendly reminder - be careful what links you click on here. If a link is posted by someone you don't know, or the URL looks fishy, DON'T CLICK. Spammers sometimes post links that lead to sites that can infect your computer, so be mindful what you click.
