Weber DCOE jets needed[to borrow and return]

When I rebuild my TR6 Engine this fall I will need to rejet my 40 DCOE Webers, actually they run rich now, however I wanted to see if any members that have extra idle jets, air correctors acc jets emulsion tubes etc, well all you have. its difficult to get webers dialed in since you have to purchase anything in sets of 6 to find out its not quite right and then you make a guess at what next to buy and then just give up getting it close. I do have a lot of different sizes too. So if you have left overs I can borrow and I will make sure you get reimbursed for the jets I keep and I will return the unused ones or buy and send you what I keep. Didn't there used to be jet drills? You'd start with a lean jet and use larger and larger drills to increase the diameter until it got one size too large (rich). So then you'd buy one one step leaner? Worked for me on an Alfa I had back in the '70s.

There are jet drills and weber sells a jet measuring device. Why, because Weber recommends that the jets do NOT be drilled. Fuel jets are taper drilled.. Maybe for an air jet, but still the people who made the carbs don't want them drilled, then I won't drill 'em, unless it's for a competition emergency...

I believe it was Claude's Buggies, who first forewarned me of this years and years ago. They used to be extensively into Weber parts and setup...
