Now that is a campaign slogan I could get behind!

I was reorganizing the garage today, and had both TRs together so took a family portrait.

This is just before the TR3 set up residence in the garage... I can't seem to find a picture showing the TR6 and TR3 in there, but they have been for some time.

Something I have discovered in my house hunting
a 3 car garage is a lot more common in the west than the east.
a 4000 sq ft house
2 car garage.
Don't make sense to me

I had that philosophy for a year now. However I have a two, 2 car garage with 4 TR's. 2 for each side. Math works out the same.

Daily driver family cars sit out side!

Me neither.

I think a 2 bedroom house with a 4000 sq ft garage would be just about right!

I really do like my garage, it is two cars wide, but 2.5 cars deep. Normally the 4A lives in front of the TR8 (which is a daily driver). My wife's car gets the other spot in the garage.

With our 4 cars and my business needing storage for equipment and supplies I really need that 3 car.
What a bugger to find
This is what they call a 3 car

I have to visit mine in a garage in a different city. My Toronto condo "parking space" is taken up by my civic.

...no wonder I can't get the 6 up and running.

Yeah, the Western US has largely gone to 3-car garages with most post-1995 construction. Also often have high ceilings due to flat roofs, Santa Fe style and cooling benefits.

Only two? Slackers. Should be at least four or five. Ha.

(Note - I don't necessarilly recommend actually doing this)

Cars look great guys, and oh what I'd give to have a lift.

What wheels are those on the TR4 GEO HAHN? I threw a German piece into the mix...

The TR4 wheels are alloys from the 60s by JA Pearce of Southall, Middlesex. They did an assortment of alloys & mag wheels and custom steering wheels for the British cars - even fielded an F1 entry in the mid-60s.

I, too, have a VW in there with the TRs.

We looked for 2 years in North Carolina to find a 2500 sq ft house and a three car garage. We finally found the house and some land with a two car, so as we speak the 30' by 40' has just had the outer walls finished. They gave me a date of October 1st under roof. We are really getting excited and in our 70's most folks are winding down, can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.

Back in the late 70's we moved to NC and could not find a home (in our price range)with a garage period. I never understood why. This really presented a problem because of all the "stuff" we had accumulated. The real estate agent told us that the soil in the Charlotte was the problem. I said nonsense, but ended up building a car port. So, much of my work on the TR250 was al fresco!
