It looks like it, but wasn;t sure if there are any points where they are welded to the inner fender.

I believe it is just a bolt-on...probably someone more intelligent than I can comment? I have the parts but have not installed them yet.

Indeed they are just bolt-on. TRF makes a nice replacement set that are powder coated. A thought for anyone with either a TR4 or 6, consider taking you old ones out and replacing with new. Cheap enough. But what you might find inside the fender cavity is priceless. Hopefully no rust but know that the scuttle vent dumps right into this area and drains down into small gaps where the rocker and fender join. Not, IMHO, a good design and a potential for major headaches. I was fortunate in that mine only had surface rust and was able to scrape, treat and repaint. Too, instead of having the scuttle drain into this cavity, I extended a new rubber hose to exit down to the front bottom lip of this panel and dump water into the wheel well. Works well. A nice weekend project.

I did the same thing as bill when I had my fenders apart. Just extended the existing plastic drain pipe to dump the water directly rather than let it slop around inside the fender in the hopes of finding an outlet.

The the catchment between the hood and firewall also drains into the area behind the front fenders. Nothing you can do here. Do not plug the holes into the fender void, as they are needed to vent the area as well as drain water.

So I removed the drivers side one, and despite cleaning and heating/cooling the bolds to help them break loose the bolts snapped.

Cool! (not really)
