I noticed that the link pin on my control lever is worn. you can see it in the picture if you look closely. Does any one know of a source for the link pin? Moss doesn't list them. Can't call TRF until Monday.
If I just leave it the way it is will it affect the accelerator movement in any way?
Am I being too persnickety again?

Unscrew the ball stud, add a shim so that when re-tightened, the ball engages on an unworn area of the ball.

You know how some problems clear up after a good night's sleep. I got up this morning had my cup of tea, read the emails, went on the forum, read of Randall receiving the Dave Russell award, YEA, went up out of the shop had a good breakfast. I then came back down and went to work on the worn ball stud. When I looked at the linkage on the carbs I found that the linkage came equipped with new ball studs! End of problem.
It's amazing how some problems clear up after a good nights sleep.
