TR4/4A Question about TR4A Clutch line fitting specifications

The TR4A uses a fitting at either end of the flexible hose that attaches to the clutch slave cylinder. Why they didn't specify a hose with the proper fittings at each end is anybody's guess.

I am replacing my clutch slave cylinder, as it is leaking again. In fact, it leaked all the fluid all over my garage floor. Better than a master cylinder leak, I suppose. I replaced the one replaceable rubber seal in this slave a while back, and imagine my bore is scored, so I chose to replace the entire thing this time.

The fitting at the slave cylinder is seized in the slave cylinder. I am afraid that I will damage it, or the slave cylinder, if I apply much more force than I already have. I am looking for a new fitting for the new slave cylinder, since the replacements come without the required fitting.

Moss sells them for $25 apiece. I am happy to support our loyal parts suppliers, but this price seems outrageous.

I quickly found, what I believe to be the correct fitting, at Summit Racing, but I am not 100% sure it is threaded correctly. I would be very appreciative if anyone could confirm that the Summit part would be correct.

Well, answering my own question here - The Summit fitting is definitely not correct. One end looks like it might be right, but the AN threaded end is definitely wrong. That end should be an inverted flare fitting.

A little more research shows me that the TR250 clutch hose should work for me, as it does not require an adapter to connect to the slave, so I won't need another fitting. The hose is only $16.95 from Moss.
