Finally figured out how to post to YouTube. Here's a short clip from the VDCA event at Kershaw SC last weekend. This was taken on the first lap of the first session of the first event of my season so obviously I was a little rusty and did not cover all items prior to the start.

Over the winter I changed over to a different intake manifold and new exhaust--the old carb needles were too rich and there is some audible missing. However at about 1:29 something else will be missing as well.

I've never needed one of those (so far) and after seeing that, I am less inclined to add one unless I really, really need it.

Anyway, all's well that ends well....hope you had fun. The Mo Minor looked great out there....that was the other car I was considering before I got the A35.

On a more important note:
I was telling Linda this week, "Do you know what Michael is <span style="font-style: italic">already</span> doing?"
Her: "Does it have something to do with cars?"
Me: "<span style="font-weight: bold">Yes</span>! He's racing already!"
Her: "Cool your jets....Summer's coming." :jester:

Can't wait......

Thank the track designer for nice run off areas!

Good thing this didn't happen at Shenandoah. Or Schenley Park!

A friend of mine took the Pinto out at BeaveRun.
He didn't come around once and we were wondering what happened.

I forgot to tell him that if you pull really hard on the steering wheel...
It will come out of the column.

He came back with one of those looks on his face.

I still wonder why he was pulling at the thing...He wouldn't say exactly...
In fact he didn't say anything for a long time :confuse:

Nice recovery MIchael. Cool heads always prevail, well played.

I had the same problem with my SU Needles being too rich at anything over 4500 rpm during the HMSA Portland Historics. I thought I was too lean the whole time. The dyno never lies, had to custom grind a new pair which got me through to the end of the season.
