MK2 rear axle "Bump Steer"
Have noticed over the last 3 years some oddities in handling, didn't pay much attention, figured, hey, it's Brit.
Today I had to drive into the city, and I noticed every dip in the highway, it was like rear-end bump steer.
Swung you around a bit in the seat, felt it a bit in the cushion.
I've replaced the torque arm bushings with Urethane, checked the spring bushings, checked the Panhard Rod bushings, pulled the shocks, cleaned them, inspected for proper operation, and replaced the shock bushings.
This is like the Panhard Rod is pulling the axle too far on a bump. Yet the bushings good, wheels even in the spats.
This normal in a MK2?
