Hey Gang, Thanks for the postings and this site! Have learned a good bit from ya'll in reading through some of your threads over the past couple of years. I inherited a 75 TR6 a couple of years ago- her name is Princess Beatrice. 48K orig miles, orig paint Java Green and until last month was doing great. The points/condensor went and she belched quite a bit which I believe blew some welds that a friend had patched her exhaust system with. I need some direction. Since I have no tools, the friend has moved out of state and limited knowledge - what would be the best action to take on repairs to the exhaust. Same thing on the suspension system- that is the only other thing wrong with her - need rear springs at minimum and need to have the front end looked at. Had a tuneup oil change done through my local Firestone shop -they have taken care of my other cars for the past 10 years. Can stay with them on somethings but wanted some other thoughts. Also, can anyone recommend where to get a manual and what basic tools I should start investing in and how do I go about learning to work on her.
Thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
