Guess I could call Moss but thought I would check here first.

Dash lights, I have a new Moss wireing harness. It has plastic light bulb holders which is fine.

However, they seem to take something other than a pin or screw type bulb as the old ones did.

What are they???????? I can cheat, I did keep all the old metal cans from the old harness but why change.

The last harness I bought also had the plastic bulb holders that took the "push-in" type bulbs found on later cars. I've seen these called "wedge base" bulbs. This isn't so bad really as you can get these newer style bulbs at places ranging from car parts places all the way down to grocery stores.

Does it look like one of these would plug into it?

Yep, but is is real nice to know what they are. Shucks I had some of the old ones in my tool box even from my last car. Oh well not a biggee and maybe they are even a bit bighter.

Thanks again Peter, that's twice today.

'tis nuthin' Jack, glad to help.

Remember Brian's Team Sprite girls decided to reuse their old sockets on the new harness? It's still on the TeamSprite webpage. Plus this last summer I had to send Buster out for those bulbs when we did his car.

Wonder how the Sprite auction is going at RM Anyone know?

Not heard a word on the auction, was it yesterday?

Yep, Peter I have some old sockets but I just checked briefly and might even need one myself. Not sure yet. Man I like the intertube trick for breaks. That works great.
