Nice looking car and, as they say, you couldn't build it for that. I'm not too crazy about the black meatballs, but the color of the car is different in a good way. If you're not going to use it as a daily driver, I wouldn't worry too much about touching up the paint. The chances of scraping up the paint on a weekend drive or at a show are pretty slim and if it's something like a major accident, it's going to be the insurance company's problem to make it right. Even if you needed a repair, the bugeye has a lot of cut lines so you'd probably end up painting a whole side or a bonnet or trunk panel so it would be a lot easier to do an acceptable match than if you were trying to do a blend on a single panel. I'd get the name and paint code, though and also the name of the painter in case you needed it in the future.
