Curious if anyone has any experience in positioning the grease slinger on the axles of a Spit 1500? My Haynes manual gives a position tolerance of plus/minus 0.010", that would require precision tools and or measurement to achieve.
Also, does the final position of the ball bearing on the axle get determined by the installation of the hub during re installation? There is no positive stop to drift the bearing to.
