Front Suspension Bushings Question

Anyone with experience using the poly front suspension bushings from Moss Motors. A set of mine I'm ready to install to an MG-TD (same as MGA and MGB) are a little bit loose when fitting to the suspension "A" arm. They are a snug fit on the mounted pivot but about .020" off when fitting to the "A" arm.

When tightened up they also squeak a bit when the arm is moved. Is this normal and will I hear it later?

Will I notice the lack of a tight fit in the bushing to arm fit?

I use em in my 67B, they are fine. They'll work a bit as you drive of course.I used red grease when installing them as recommended by someone here on this forum and no squeaks.
As for the fitting aspect, I don't have any input on that. Mine fit very well, not too tight not too loose.

When I installed poly bushings on my B, I used a bit of silicon/white lithium grease. They had a snug fit on the pivot, and a "perfect" fit on the arm (i.e. slide right in with no slack). The grease ensured they would not squeak.

Thanks for the response. I've got a set of MGB, V-8 bushings that fit much better that I will use instead. I'll put some lubrication(anti-seize) on the pivot to avoid corrosion which Moss Motors says they are prone to do.

The poly bushings must be a bad batch for fit.
