I put the KC "daylighter" 100-watt halogen driving lights on my BN-2. My mechanic said they will draw too much power off my system and may not be safe. Is this true? What should I do?

agreed...funny story but not with the wife...several summers ago I put new driving lights on front of Sprite just for the John C Fremont Days here in Fremont, Nebraska..looked GREAT at night until a mile from home when all went black and I had to pull to the side of road. It was a long walk home with the wife and listening to screams of "BUY AMERICAN"...needless to say I live in somewhat of a redneck town...

Yes Bibber, that is the reason I have recommended keeping the driving lights separate from the head light circuit in earlier discussions.---Keoke
