I just got back my header and manifold from being ceramic coated by a local guy here in S. Florida, and I can't believe the difference.
I found the guy on another board (not MG), and after talking to him for a while about his process, I sent him my stuff and I am impressed.
He coats the inside as well as the outside of the stuff with a coating that is resistant to 2K degrees. I was kind of skeptical of this, but I had a look at his car which has the same coating, and I was able to put my hand on the exhaust manifold with the car running.
The coating he put on can be polished, as he did with my stuff.
I have posted a pic of after coating to give you an idea of how good it looks.
I forgot, if anyone is interested, his website is www.braincoating.com.
