I recently purchased the "millboard" partition for the boot that hides the fuel tank on my 1957 TR3. The product from TRF is designed to be folded along the bottom edge, with that portion facing towards the rear, in other words showing. The partition is attached to the upper edge of the boot with interior style screws and cup washers, I believe (the car isn't where it's handy to check). My question is about the bottom edge (folded piece): Does the boot car carpet go over it, hiding that edge, or does the folded edge go over the carpet to help hold it in place?
