I'm back on the road..I had a friend help me today and we moved the wiring around while the engine was running and all of a sudden the light went out and the voltage went to 14.3. I found the nut on the alternator terminal was not tight where it went in the case.. It took a real thin wrench to get it. Tightened it and everything was fine.
Also I had dash lights that would only work in a certain location of the switch. I took the panel light rheostat switch out. I took it apart and cleaned the contacts with a small dremel wire wheel. Did not clean the wire coil. Lubed it and reinstalled it and it works like a dream.
While I was working I also got my front overriders installed and glove box put back in..
A great day in the garage, now the rain can go away so I can drive it!
