1975 MOSS price sheet

Howdy all. Been awhile since I've been on the forum. As a matter of fact I haven't hit a lick on the car in quite a while. Too cold. It is now warming up some so I'm getting ready to get after my car. First thing I have to do is clear some work benches.
I have flat surface syndrome. If I see a clean flat surface I feel compelled to fill it up with "stuff". So today I'm on a "clear off the benchs work day".
Anyhow I found an almost mint 1975 MOSS MG price list. Anyone into that type of memorabilia let me know and I will mail it to you. Hate to just toss it. At 35+ years old seems like a terrible thing to do.

Any how let me know.

Hey Tink-

Welcome back! I understand the flat surface syndrome - my bench stays clean for about 1 day out of the year!

So, how cheap were parts back then?

I have a Moss catalog from about 1980 or so, the red covered one, well before they started putting them out on any regular basis. But I didn't keep any of the price sheets.

Actually I have the price lists for '86 and '87. Need a look up?

I also have a parts/price list for TR2 and TR3 from Brittish Auto Parts
then located in San Francisco and dated July 1964!!!
Want a piston and sleeve assy. for 83mm at $18.00 each exchange?
How about 87mm at $23.00? Or a complete TR2 carb repair kit for $4.50?

Of course my annual salary as a shop teacher back then was around $3000/yr.

The most expensive thing I see on the parts list is $950.00. I have no idea what it is but, it is catalog number 111-328.

Still an active part number!

Wow Darrell, have climbed up a bit eh? Thanks.

I started out this thread talking about the flat surface syndrome. I finally achieved my goal of clearing off a flat surface. I should have taken a before picture. it was covered with an accumulation of stuff. It is now clear of stuff. Just to show everyone that it can be done I have included a picture!

Cheers, Tinkerman
