TR6 1974 TR6 Rear Brakes w/o hydr. press.

As a new member I don't know if this is the proper place to seek advice but, here goes: I have a 1974 TR6 that I've had and worked on for 40+ years. I thought I must have encountered most every glitch at one time or another - not so. The rear brake cyls. apparently leaked out over winter storage so I replaced them and then tried to bleed them. The fronts work great but the left rear has only the tiniest bit of pressure and the right has none. The master cyl. is OK and the PDWA has fluid in and fluid out to the rear unions. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Hi Dennis,
Well, you posted in our New Members Introductions forum...a place just to say hello and introduce yourself to the gang.

For specific questions, in this case Triumph related, it's best to post in the Triumph forum. I'm going to move this to the correct forum. I'f you're reading this, it means you are now actually in the Triumph forum (I'll leave a redirect in the Introductions forum for a while).

You can still go back to the Introductions forum and post an intro if you like.

Thank you Basil - I'm old and not really conversant with how to navigate the forum.

Replace the flex line at the back of the system. They go bad from the inside and "valve" to trap fluid from going to the cylinders.

Thank you. I had already ordered new hoses with that in mind and thinking it would be worth a try - your post gives me hope that I may actually be on the right track.
