My turn signal switch broke last week (mechanically, the post that it pivots on simply broke off), got a replacement though the wiring colors didn't match, but I belive I have it wired right. Continuity at the switch tests out appropriately.
Everything worked before it broke, now I get a steady left turn signal light when I switch it to the left, but no blink, and nothing when I go with the right. Could it be wired wrong? Looked at the flasher unit, it appeared to be ok.
Do I risk frying something if I swap the wires around? Any thought on other possible problems?
