Winter sucks

What is wrong with snow? My Wife and I got in the car this morning Drove 2 1/2 hours to the ski resort, Skied in the beautiful white stuff all day. Then we got back in the car and drove home. I love the snow. (but not in my front yard)

Cabin fever is right. It snowed 12 inches here in Alabama Sunday night. Its still here. We haven't have that much snow in years. Everything shut down here for two days. Roads decent Tuesday but I stayed in. Made a Walmart run Thursday and finally got to the shop yesterday. My Mothers driveway was still covered but made it in okay. It was good to get out.

Nothing wrong with snow Dan, as long as it's in your world and not mine.....

I do feel for those who like to ski when there is no snow, just like I feel for me when it snows and I can't play golf.

One man's trash is another man's treasure...

Skiing? Isn't that what motorboats are for?

:iagree:

Strangely accurate comparison. :smirk:

Wasn't making comparisons, just calling you CHICKEN!

mehheh. In McFly tradition, here ya go.

I'll say the only difference between this photo and a "winter" shot is that in the normal January/February weather I revert to a "shorty" wet suit. This was on an October day a few years ago:

Toothpicks with a board at one end and Speedo at the other end. My poor eyes will never be the same.

Man, doc, that looks like fun.

I did a little water skiing once or twice. Never lived close enough to enough water and knew anyone with a boat to do much more. All the guys I hang with now have steam powered launches, don't go fast enough to ski behind.

Tried snow skiing once too, spent the day cold and wet. :p

Been doin' that from age 11. Both snow and water. Found out in my mid-twenties I was ALLERGIC to trees. Water, even at 50 MPH, is a LOT more forgiving...

Ya just kinda skip across it like a stone 'til ya scrub off enuff velocity to penetrate. Trees, not so much. :jester:
