What is this called?

yup... I can see them too... hmmmm... I really haven't seen them run like that on my car. I'll have to double check, but i'm 90% certain mine are run wrong... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I love how a thread starts off, the question is answered and then we turn it into another entire topic of conversation, even more interesting than the original topic!!!

By the way, Scott. You make me sick. I just want to dump a gallon of grease and oil in your engine bay!

Mine's nasty because of 3 things... shredding 2 fanbelts before replacing the motor mount, a dryrotted Valvecover vent hose that keeps falling off, and driving the car for about 2 weeks with the exhaust broken at the downpipe (that one made it really nasty). There really is yellow paint under all that grunge. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

And Yes, Janel, us MGB folk seem to be masters at thread hijacking... I think all of our minds work on associating the last statement in a post with something else /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

No lines over the heater box. Could this be one of those "varibles" often talked about from the production line?

[/ QUOTE ]

Brett - if they aren't up there, they've been changed by a PO because that wasn't one of the variances - you've got power assisted brakes...they come out the MC & follow the fender until they cross over the heater (up behind the lip of the body behind the hinges) just like in Kenny's photo.

Doh! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazyeyes.gif Yup, their hiding up there under the lip on the bulk head (firewall) of the engine bay as shown in Kenny's picture. In my defense I would like to state that I thought that Tony meant actually on top of the heater box – my mistake.

Sorry, I doubted you Tony.

Ah, all you young grasshoppers may now bow reverently towards Gurley, AL....hehehehehe.......in unison!
