What Did You Do On Your Austin Healey Today?

I'll start:

Today I removed the rusty heater and used a rust converter SEM's rust sealer on everything under the dashboard and insulated the firewall with Thermo-Tec's cool-it heat/sound dampener.
It wasn't easy but feel it's going to work great plugging any holes and insulate.
That was just todays project, the past three days I have been preping the car for a new carpet. This project keeps getting more involed as I see things that need to be done and figure I might as well do it right the first time.

I drove my Bugeye to the bank to deposit a check, dropped off some stuff at the cleaners for my wife, got a bean beritto brought it home for lunch and ate it.

Is your dog on a break? My dogs help me in the exact same way. Must be a union thing. I didn't do anything nearly as ambitious as you have but this past Sunday did manage to wash it and drive to the opening of a local olive mill nearby for some oil tasting and wood fire baked pizza. The dogs didn't get to go.

I changed out my rear axle oil for Red Line MT-90 and discovered how easy it is to pump. Removed an extra leaf I'd installed in each rear spring several years ago and discovered my Jag e-brake levers now hit the spring shackles, which had to be cut away slightly.

Dropped in to JME to pick up my repainted dashboard and take pictures of the BN1 they are working to work out where the pipework and wiring runs should be.

Turned the ignition key to 'on' to make sure the fuel pump started and stopped--think I had a stuck float and/or valve the other day and flooded badly (first time this has happened since I installed Grose Jets many moons ago). But, I've been doing a lot else lately, getting ready for a 3K miles road trip (lube job, check chassis for any problems, clean the air filters, fluid topoffs, etc.).

The other day, I was looking for something__now I can't remember what__and opened the Healey's trunk, to see if it was in there. Oh, now I remember; I was doing a load of microfiber towels, and was looking for dirty ones to wash! Maybe I'm not so senile yet...

I'm trying to improve the cooling, so today the radiator came out in preparation for ordering an aluminum one from Wizard Cooling:



Predictably, whenever I get within a hand grenade's distance of my radiator, I sustain some forearm damage:

I took delivery of a one-owner, all*-original BN2 that I bought yesterday. Actually it's in my brother's garage in Spokane as of this morning, and I'll go retrieve it (to Portland OR) this weekend. Details later.

I spent more money on the Healeys in the past few days. Rebuilt H4 carburetors for the 100-6, a Shelley jack for the BJ7 . . . Sometimes I wish that I was a Healey so that my owner would buy things for me.

Sunday I was caught in a storm and had to drive 40 miles in heavy rain. I had to remove the interior of the boot and dry everything. I found two pin holes in the floor below the battery. Today I took my wheels to British car Specialist to get new tires and re work the wheels. Getting ready for Dave Nock's famous 4 passes tour.

I left work early today went home put the BT7 up in the air, tightened the down pipes, torqued the shock bolts, checked the exhaust hangers, torqued the fasteners on the oil pan, luped the chassis and changed the oil and the filter.

Now What?

Forgot to ask Tahoe Healey to tell us more about 5 he Four Pass Tour. When is it? What are the Four Passes? I am guessing these passes are in the Sierras.
