What Are You Listening To?

I recently re-subscribed to my favorite radio station, KPIG.
When I travel down to Santa Cruz, I can listen for free but that's only about once a month.
I'm a bit of a radio head and can't stand background music.
Back in my preteen days I had a crystal set that I tuned into Gene Shepard and Long John Nevel.
Anyone know of a station that has radio dramas?

Vince Gill's been in a lot of genre. Eagles. Equiprix- "Los Angeles; He walks again by night. Out of the smog, into the fog.....He walks into a great sandstone building. OUCH, my nose.

I saw and heard Vince Gill recently on Bluegrass Underground.

Yep. Seeing the call letters reminded me of WPIG who was WKRP's nemesis during the first run of the show in the late 70s. just one of those random things that hide in my brain...
WKRP was a great show. Still find episodes on YouTube by the way.

Actually, KPIG was formed after the original KFAT, was sold off to a mega-media giant.
When KFAT went off the air, it was one of the darkest days of my life.
It took years for the original jocks to get a new station, funding etc. from the bones.
The result was worth the wait.

The Thanksgiving episode is my favorite. And the Who concert episode brings back too many memories, had friends that were attending the night that happened and we all in that side of the dorm worried till they got back in those pre cell phone days.

Ariel was very 1960. I do not think I have heard it before but did enjoy it. Brought back a memories of more carefree time.

Been watching some reviews of old music and one was of Johnny Cash doing Hurt. That got me to thinking about the other tracks on the album.
