Pandora in the house and garage; mostly Joe Bonammasa, Van Morison, Santana, Eagles, Doobies and maybe Phil Collins. When the wife gets involved, Tracy Chapman, Carol King, and a bit of JT. Pandora and Sirius 60s and 70s in the car. Jazz & Blues always welcome.
Was just driving into town listening to iTunes library- random shuffle of songs- & Van Morrison was just playing.
speaking of Joe B / he’s doing a live virtual concert tonight (April 1st):

speaking of Carmen ...

Saw her on the Jimmy Durante show back in the 1950s - the night she had the heart attack while on camera.

Depends on the mood and what strikes me, could go anywhere from chant, which needs to be recorded in a church or auditorium to sound right, to classical, to swing to 50s on rock to present day "kids".. There's no one I like everything they ever did, but a lot of individuals and groups have enough I like to fill out a playlist of a few thousand. Was listening earlier to America 1979 concert in Central park and from there to Redhead Express and RaeLynn then to Beatles. I do skip around a lot...

I heard this playing at Epcot in the Norwegian exhibit. I bought a copy of the CD and do enjoy it from time to time.

Isn't it cool the stuff that YouTube and sites like that expose you to that before might have remained local or family entertainment. I have a number of singers I would never have run across without the accident of stumbling across a song or reference then looking for more.

Several years ago, one of my best friends was a guy who was at the time the manager of the local Jag dealer. They had a daughter, Larmie, who sang in their church and even as a little girl had a great voice. Here is a picture I took of Laramie as a little girl (with her goat - she was into 4H).

Fast forward to 2013 - I stumbled upon this video of Laramie. Don't know the story behind this production and this seems to be the only video of her.

Very cool, maybe out there with a stage name now. If she has the desire and willing to put in the work to make the connections, anything is possible. Hope for the best.

Confession: the Sirrius XM channel I listen to most is the "40s" channel (big band stuff).
