Valve Cover Gasket Silicone Adhesive

I am in the process of adjusting my valves. I have to replace the cork gasket. I have an aluminum valve cover that is flat on the bottom edge. What is recommended for the high temperature silicone to seal the cork to the cover.

A bit more in cost, but this stuff is excellent, IMHO. Cure time is 24 hours, so a bit of patience is required.

I'm not familiar with this product, but it looks like good stuff. Just be careful, some of the 'Right Stuff-type' sealants are high-strength adhesive; you might end up having to chisel your valve cover off.

I'm using a silicone gasket by gasket innovation. It seals nicely and it's reusable.

Using silicone one with DIRKO ht ... cure 48 h to be efficient

High temp silicone sealant to glue the gasket to the valve cover . Hold it all in place with masking tape while it sets up 24hrs . No sealant on the gasket to head face needed .
