Well POR does mean "Paint Over Rust", perhaps it needs rust underneath

Yes it does that Don. Did you rinse off the Metal Ready after 20 minutes? After it is completly dry, you are good to apply the POR15

Cheers,
Tush

Had to leave to go to a Targa Newfoundland meeting. I managed to open one of these pics with this link but it opens quite small. I may try Photobucket. The other way to view my pics is to go to Flickr and look for tr6bobnf among the most recent photos. Clicking on my nickname brings up all the photos.

Yes Don, that is a WA plate and it does have tube shocks. So whassup?

This link does not work either. The site directs you to grab the link, copy and paste but obviously it does not work as indicated. I give up on Flickr!

I think the problem is that the forum software is putting in a picture of the "at sign" in the URL (because it probably thinks you are entering in an email address, and is trying to protect you). If you edit the URL you paste to put the @ in, it seems to work.

Bob,

On Flickr you want to do the following

- While viewing the picture you want to paste, go up to the icons that show e-mail, Facebook and Twitter and select the dropdown arrow.
- Under the dropdown box, select Grab the HTML/BBCode.
- Select BBCode.
- Select size (bigger is almost always better!).
- Copy the entire code as indicated.
- Paste code into a new message here.

Was going to and got side tracked om another project and forgot.
Will this be bad?

Boy, Flickr makes you work
Boys, Is that a blind Moose shock kit?

Don,

I agree! Photobucket makes it much easier.

Hi Don,

I would be inclined to go back through the steps....marine clean, dry, metal ready, rinse, dry, and then top coat.

Just my 2 cents.

Cheers,
Tush

Ah, did the Google. It's a de greaser. Do you think I need to do that even after stripping all the paint?♠

So I decided to do a bit more of the removing.
Decided to do the back of the tire well.

Question, will the Aircraft stripper remove the seam sealer too, or do I have to get all that off first?

Not having much luck with the stripper on the black seam stuff. Doesn't look like it is even touching it. Wonder if I messed up on this part.
