Is it possible to replace differential pinion seal without removing the differential from the frame entirely? thanks

I have no tr6 experience, but I have removed many by taking the flange off (be sure to mark the parts and count turns for reassembly) and sticking a stout screw driver between the pinion and seal and then under one side of the seal to pry out the old seal.

This is what I used to pulled the seal on a TR4, TR3A and a Big Healey...

Don't forget to drain the diff first. Or don't... and it will be self-draining in that case.
