I'm thinking that at some point all TR4s started getting the Celsius Temp Gauges.
I also have a theory that they goofed when they made those as the center point is (on mine anyway) 70C which is 158F. An odd temp to center the gauge on.
The correct formula is C=(F-32)*5/9 so 185 (the center temp on the TR3 gauges) would be (185-32)*5/9 = 85C.
But if you get your get your operations out of sequence such as (F*5/9)-32 you get: (185x5/9)-32=71C.
Easy to see why they (and most car makers) ended up using just C, N & H on the dial.
