TR2/3/3A Tr-2 Clutch Problem

I can confirm you don't have to remove the TOB pin bolt to remove the TOB, the last time I refitted the gearbox during the maneuvering to get it lined up the TOB fell off which was a bit frustrating.

I will follow your recommendation on bleeding the MC before I install. I think that pin is O.K. I can move the lever forward and back with my hand, easily. If when everything is set up again, and it won't go into gear, I will be forced to remove the b#&)n% transmission.
When you say it wont go into gear is that with the engine running or not running?
Have you had the engine and transmission separated and the clutch off the flywheel since you got the car? The reason I ask is the friction disk can bond to the flywheel if it has not moved for years. I had an engine and transmission that had sat for some years and found the friction disk had to be pried off the flywheel.
With the clutch depressed I could not get it into gear.
