I posted this over on the MGE and decided that it needed to go here as well.
I haven't posted too much about this tragedy until now cause it's taken this long for me to come up with a few words. I'm not very good at putting into words those things that I feel but I'm going to try. When I first learned about Tony & Jerri's accident, I was flooded with several emotions all at once. I was stunned, shocked, angry, sad, and a little frightened and probably a few more things in there. But way down deep in there somewhere, as strange as it will sound to some, I felt a small sense of joy. It confused me at first then I realized that it was because I had been given the honor of knowing both Tony & Jerri. I feel very privileged that Tony had shared some of his history with me during a couple of visits. Sometime, when I feel up to the task, I'll post some of that here.
Tony had many, many friends from the LBC and in particular, the MG community and from his days in the Military and college and before. He was an outstanding asset to all of us, as a friend, a fellow enthusiast and a mentor. He will be missed by many people as can be evidenced from the messages left here.
Good Bye Tony ol' friend
